about

Recorded during the True Places Never Are sessions. We were saving these for a split record that ended up not happening, so fuck it. Here you go.

Jung at Heart - Dubbed "Alk 3" by Von, is about dealing with depression while being at a show in somebody's basement. Updated song title lifted from a 90s television show called Frasier.

Great, Expectations is about dealing with depression at work while trying to act like you have your shit together. Updated song title is a reference to that song from that band from New Jersey.

(King) Nothing - initially dubbed "Full Banjo" by Von, is about dealing with depression while you're sitting alone on your couch in your apartment and your dog is distracted by their kong to pay any attention to you. The best version of this song was the acoustic track I recorded inside of my bathroom but this one is good too. Updated song title is a homage to the classic 90s track by Metallica.
